You can purchase our jewellery through this website via PayPal using your own account or simply entering your credit card details (VISA or MASTERCARD).

Shipping

MI Jewels offers shipping for all orders over $150 within Australia.

All orders under $150 will incur a $10 shipping fee.

International orders will incur a $25 shipping fee.

We use Australian Post for all postage. As all our pieces are made to order, your piece will be ready to ship in 7-10 business days. If you require your piece urgently please send us an email.

To ensure safe delivery your piece will be sent via Express Post with signature on delivery.

International orders are sent by registered Air Mail. Delivery to most countries takes between 10-15 business days. Any import duties, sales taxes or other import costs, incurred at the point of entry into the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

Return policy

MI Jewels wants all our customers to receive high quality products. Should you receive goods you are unhappy with, please contact us immediately. We only accept returns if you receive damaged goods. Once you send us an email, please include as many details as possible. To be eligible for a refund or a replacement, returned items must be in original condition and in original packaging, returned within 10 days of receipt.

Ring Size

When purchasing a ring, it is the customers’ responsibility to choose the correct size.

There are a couple of options to determine your size:

-          Measure inside diameter of a current ring and use the Ring Size Conversion Table for the corresponding ring size.

-          Wrap a piece of string or paper firmly but not tight around the bottom of your finger. Measure the length (circumference) in mm and use the Ring Size Conversion Table for the corresponding ring size.

When sizing, do not forget to have in consideration that some of us have knuckles that are larger than the bottom of our finger.

If you are purchasing a ring with a wider band you should choose a ring half to one size larger. 

For a more accurate measurement avoid sizing your fingers when it is overly hot or cold.

Care Instructions

Every piece of MI Jewels is designed and handmade with the upmost care in our studio in Melbourne.

Please see below some guidelines to ensure your jewellery will stay beautiful.

-          Remove your jewellery before going to bed, exercising, applying cosmetics or even household chores to avoid the abrasive cleaners or chemicals involved.

-          All metals react differently to the environment around us. Therefore, exposure to perspiration, cosmetics, perfumes, chemicals, abrasive cleaners, chlorine and salty water can affect your piece.

•          Sterling silver

Due to sterling silver being an alloy that contains copper it tarnishes over time, especially when exposed to air and some household chemicals. Therefore we recommend to store your silver jewellery in an airtight container or zip lock bag.

There are a few methods to clean your silver jewellery:

1.        Silver Polish Cleaner, available from hardware stores. You can dip your silver piece into and then rinse however this can be smelly and poisonous. Be aware that if the wrong chemicals are used they could damage the piece.
2.        For general cleaning scrub gently under warm soapy water (another safe method is with a small amount of toothpaste or a small amount of bi-carb soda) with a soft toothbrush. Once cleaned you can soak it in clean water and dry.
3.        For heavily tarnished silver the most effective method is to use an ultrasonic cleaner. Contact us to use our cleaning service.

•          Gold plated sterling silver

Rose gold and yellow gold plated sterling silver has a surface treatment that will wear overtime depending on its wear and the amount of care taken. As with silver, we advise gold plated jewellery not to be worn when showering or exercising. Preventing it from getting wet and keeping it away from harsh chemicals, lotions and perfumes will ensure its lasting quality.  If you would like your piece re-plated we can happily do that for you for a small fee.
